The purpose of this Session was to record the nine-month milestone of Little Sister, and feature Big Sister in just 1-2 portraits.
However, as you can see, Little Sister was MUCH happier with big sister involved, so most portraits ended up including both girls.
Isn’t this the way of siblings when they’re little? They love being together.

Dancers put so much time and work into what they do- why not have professional photos taken to celebrate? This young lady dances at Solomon’s Dance Studio in Neosho. Can you guess some of the dances these costumes belong to?

Location: the fire station, and a field personally scouted by the mom who knew exactly what she wanted. Photographed the first week of April, right before trees were leafy but when the spring wildflowers were starting to show. Time was between 6-7 PM so the Session ran right into twilight.
Three outfits, all in studio. Some formal, some fun, and some that make you feel good :)

Big sister had some pose ideas of her own. I had some folded canvas backgrounds draped over this chair I wasn’t using. She crawled inside to make a little nest. :)
